Frequency of Midwife Appointments

I was wondering how far apart everyone’s midwife appointments are after 32 weeks. I have had my 34 week appointment and my next appointment now won’t be till 37+5 days. Is this common? I thought they would be every two weeks after 32.
I am low risk but baby is moving around a lot and he keeps on going breech. Midwife has said this is usually checked at 36 and people normally are scanned. I’m now 36 weeks and baby has hiccups that feel quite up. I’m just worried he will stay in this position

It's perfectly within your right to request an extra appointment if you feel you need one, just text your midwife?

You can Google the 'official' NHS appointment schedule, I can remember what it is but every two weeks sounds more frequent than I remember

If you are worried about the baby’s position I would just phone your triage number and arrange to go in for a bedside scan to make sure.

I’d say advocate for yourself and reach out to your midwife with any concerns. This is your pregnancy, your baby, speak up x

I've been having midwife appointments roughly every 2 weeks from 32 weeks (37 weeks now), maybe slightly more or less depending on appointment availability

It gets quite varied as you approach the end of pregnancy.
There was a page in my green notes that told me when I was to expect to have my appointments. There were extra appointments in the chart for first time mums and high risk mums.
I was on the high risk mums pathway for mental health so was originally going to get the extra appointments but I developed obstetric Cholestasis so was being monitored in triage every 3-7 days, having growth scans and under obstetric care so my midwife cancelled all the appointments. She ended up doing a 36 week appointment as she was down to some blood tests for me as I couldn't get to the main hospital that day.

Please speak up if you need more support you are unsure about things.

Thank you everyone for your advice.
I am a first time mum so a bit nervous. Baby tends to move about a lot but worried about him getting stuck in breech position and what this could mean for me giving birth just thought I’d be seen every two weeks towards the end especially at 36 weeks to check if baby has moved. I will phone triage and see what they say

Did you call triage?

I remember my baby was breech until 38 weeks, and he turned himself around and was born without complications at 39+6. Has the midwife recommended any exercise to help encourage baby to change position? I was advised to kneel on the edge of the sofa, and put my hands on the floor and raise my bum up 3 times a day for a few mins to encourage him to move.

Yeah I did.
they weren’t really interested and said there is nothing they could do until my appointment at 37+5 if baby was still breech I would need to be booked for a c section. I really wanted to avoid a c section and feel quite let down after being told I would be scanned if I felt baby was breech.
My midwife had said about the website spinning baby’s. I have a pregnancy ball so on that every day trying to encourage him to go back down. I have a feeling he is back down here’s hoping!
