I'm sure it's nothing but it really is uncomfortable at the moment (not painful though just uncomfortable) Just wondered if this is quite common at this stage.

This is baby No.3 but this is the furthest I've ever gotten as I was induced with 1 and 2 due to complications which I miraculously (sp?) haven't got this time.

You could ring labour ward, with your history, might be worth getting checked out?

fiddledidee · 13/06/2008 21:11

get checked out - third ones are fabulously unpredictable. as you say might be nothing but much better to be sure at the stage you're at. could be something like a water infection which would need treating?

good luck

sounds like me the day before I gave birth to DC1!!!

nannyjo · 13/06/2008 21:15

blimey, I was expecting 'stop being so paranoid this is very normal give it more time' kind of response. Never having actually gone into labour 'naturally' before does the general rule of it being quicker (sometimes) still apply??

Sounds like things are moving along! I just had my DS three weeks early. I was feeling cramply/stiff/achy for a day or two then my waters broke in the night at 36+6. I had period like pain too and a slight back ache.

spendalittlelivealot · 13/06/2008 21:21

ive been having strong uncomfortable braxtons and perios pains for a few weeks now (baby no3) Im 35 weeks, but as the others have saod may be worth getting checked xx

nannyjo · 13/06/2008 21:27

the period type pains are constant though, not coming and going in waves as BH or contractions would. I would hate to make a fuss over nothing at the hosp. I think I'll wait and see how things go for a bit. (not sure now )

Still sounds like me the day before I gave birth nannyjo. How are you feeling this morning?

spendalittlelivealot · 14/06/2008 10:40

any news this morning nannyjo? x

nannyjo · 14/06/2008 14:36

strange!! I went to bed and the pain got worse and worse, I almost called the hosp but still didn't (I'm a don't go to the docs unless my leg is falen off type of person!!)Eventually fell asleep about 3 am. Woke about 7ish and all the pain in my back is totally gone and the period type pains were still there but have also worn off over the day!!

Guess I'll just keep waiting till it really happens now

Thank you all for your advice and help last night x

just glad you are ok xxx

Nannyjo, things sound like they are kicking off, don't worry if it takes a bit longer - when things really start you will not sleep through them. Cheer up, the pain you've already have is being subtracted from the pain spent later on.

Good luck.
