I’ve been having cramping for over a week and my period is now 4 days late I took some tests yesterday strip tests then another test which was clearly negative but when I took the test apart I could see a line.. I’ve no idea

Sorry I don't think you are - 4 days after a missed period you'd expect a strong line.

The tests looks negative to me. And as the PP said at 4 days late you’d have very strong obvious positive.

Do you monitor ovulation with OPKs or BBTs? Could be a good idea to start next cycle so you have a better idea when to expect AF (or not) going forward…

I don't think so I'm afraid unless you're wrong about your ovulation date. I can't see anything which doesn't mean you can't but in my experience very faint positives after about 11/12 dpo mean a chemical pregnancy. You'd expect a strong positive by now if implantation had been fully successful.

All the strip ones look like they’ve been pulled apart from another test rather than sold like that. I’m only going by how kind of battered they look at the edges. Most tests normally say the brand or what kind of test they are. (Like HCG/LH etc). If they are just strip tests where did you get them from?

I would just find a digital test, if it’s spelt out with words then there’s no trying to analyse lines etc and whether they are there when pulled apart etc.
