Is anyone in the West Midlands area that have had children in heartlands or Solihull hospital

generally good…..wouldn’t have been my first choice but I was having twins so options limited.
parking is HORRIFIC which is why I refused to go there when I had my eldest. But I had the twins in lockdown so no visitors and car park empty so it was bliss! They saved mine and my twins lives when both placentas abrupted and the dedicated breastfeeding consultant team were amazing. All during a very challenging lockdown. A few niggles but no worse than other places when I’ve talked to other people who chose Warwick or Women’s

solihull unit though is very very small and midwife led - there is NO pain relief options other than very basic gas and air and nearest consultants are at Heartlands so bear that in mind. You can only go there if you are having a completely complex free pregnancy - any Problems you’ll get sent to heartlands anyway
