18-19 DPO Test Line Advice

Hi,

I tested on what I beleive to be 12-13 DPO and got a very faint positive which I confirmed with a digital test. (Sorry no picture).

Today (18-19 DPO) my result is as picture shows, much more noticable than last week but not completely solid or a "dye-stealer" as some would say.

My query is if this looks potentially ok, I have had no pain or spotting and have felt various pains alternating in breasts as well as being much more tired/fatigued than usual. Sorry if this comes across as overly anxious but I keep comparing this to other progressions i've seen and no idea if its ok or not.

That's a very strong positive. You're definitely pregnant. These tests are notorious for false positives, but that it not one 😂 there's no reason to think anything is going wrong at this point.

That is a solid line? What makes you think it's not solid?

Most people don't even get dye stealers.

You are very much pregnant.

Hi,

Thank you for your response!

I have just seen much darker lines at 19 DPO from other forums etc which caused me a bit of worry. Unfortunately due to a previous loss I am quite anxious.

Is it? Even for 19DPO?

I do trust I am pregnant my worry was more if its dark enough that it looks like it is progressing as it should.

Thank you very much for you response.

Yes. It's a very very strong line.

I recommend you step away from testing. I don't think it will do your mental health any good.

What’s a dye stealer?? Thats positive thats all the matters. I found the clear blue ones that tell the weeks more reassuring. But testing won’t change anything, so try and avoid now you’ve had a positive.

Can you do a week's indicator one? I'll admit mine at your stage was a definite dye stealer but I think I had particularly high HCG levels and I ended up with Hyperemesis and I'm having a girl. I completely understand the worry, I had two chemicals before this pregnancy and tested like a mad woman!! Aslong as the line isn't getting lighter I wouldn't worry, I'm sure all is fine. Congratulations!

Hi,

Thanks for response, fortunately it is much more noticeable than my first. My worry was more if it was in line with 18-19 DPO.

I may decide to do a weeks indicator but ideally as long as no negative signs I will try my best to limit testing.

Hiya thanks!
I think there’s so much variation in reality, I did IVF so I know it was exactly 18 days and my medical team were so unconcerned about line faintness
I’m nearly 14 weeks now xx
