Embarrassing tmi question! Found a small lump near vagina. Bartholin cyst?

Hello! I'm 17 weeks pregnant and last night, I found a small, pea sized, lump on the inside of my labia minora, close to my vaginal opening. It's completely painless right now, despite quite a bit of prodding.

The internet suggests Bartholin cyst, but like I said it's small and painless and doesn't feel like it'll burst so I don't know. I have a Dr appointment in less than two weeks so I'll ask about it then, if it's still there.

Has anyone had anything similar, when pregnant or not? Did it go away by itself?

Bump (pardon the pun!)

Hi! I had a Bartholin’s cyst when I was a teenager. It was HUGE and very painful. It was very close to the vaginal opening, kind of covering part of it really. I thought I had another one when I was pregnant in the summer, it sounds very similar to what you’re describing, and I showed it to a doctor in maternity triage (lucky them!) when I was there for another reason. They said it wasn’t a Bartholin’s (after doing a quick internal examination as the Bartholin’s gland is internal- so they might offer this to you to rule in/out). It did later become a small abscess which then popped and healed with antibiotics. Could it be a sebaceous cyst?

Thanks for replying! In recent news, it has popped. I'm not convinced it was a Bartholin cyst, I think it was too high up, so maybe it was sebaceous. I am now anxious about getting an infection though 😬.
