Good evening
I’ve recently taken a test and believe I’m around 8 weeks this has come as a bit of a shock as wasn’t planned or expected.
Iam 38 is this to old?
I have a 15 year old and 9 year old.
I’ve never been lucky in the pregnancy department suffering several miscarriages and taking a long time to conceive.
would this be unfair on my other children to bring a baby into their lives with them at the ages they are and then at my age would that be fair on a baby
into my heart I’ve always wanted 3/4 children but had to accept that wasn’t part of life’s plan for me and to find out now there’s a little bean growing is really scary

I had my first at 26 and we were the youngest in our NCT group by 10 years 🤣🤣 with lots of soon to be parents over or around 40 so I wouldn’t worry about your age too much.

It must be a real shock! It would be a lifestyle change for your current DC for sure.

Best of luck OP x

Firstly I wouldn't worry about your age at all, like PP was the youngest in my NCT group even at 29! It's pretty normal these days.

Secondly I think you are still in a bit of shock/panic but I feel from the tone of your post that you very much want to keep the baby in which case I think you should. I do believe things have a habit of working out and happen for a reason, especially if you've had struggles before.

You don't mention a partner, finances, work etc. ?

Where in any part of the world is 38 old to have a baby these days?
