12 week scan anxiety / no bump?

8th pregnancy with two living children. 12 week scan on Friday and I’m just expecting bad news.

I have no bump, in normal jeans even though it’s my third baby. I’ve heard no heart beat before and I’m just worried it will be bad news again.

Anyone had 2/3/4th pregnancies and no bump? My boobs don’t hurt but I’ve still got some sickness.

Me! I remember feeling the exact same before my 12 weeks scan, I even posted a thread here too! I just carry quite small even though I’m short I have a fairly long torso. With my first I didn’t show till around 22 weeks and with my second it was around 18-20 weeks that my jeans started to feel tight.

Now at 38 weeks I’m an absolute whale so please don’t panic and good luck! 🙂x

Just to add in both pregnancies I had minimal early symptoms - none at all with my son (first) and just some nausea and slightly sore boobs with my second x

@Yellowdaff25 thanks! It’s so hard not to panic. I have been in maternity jeans by now but I was also skinnier so maybe it’s down to that. One day to go either way. I just need to take it one day at a time.

I also have a long torso and never had massive bumps in pregnancy so I need to keep this in mind!
