Please someone help a lady in need of advice !

Hi everyone, I’m really hoping someone can share their experience because I’m honestly driving myself mad with worry 😔

My last period was on 28th November and my cycles are 32–33 days. Based on my dates, my EDD works out at around 6 weeks today. I had an early scan on Friday, and they said I measured 6 weeks at that point. They could see a yolk sac, but no fetal pole yet.

They’ve booked me in for another scan on the 19th, and the wait is absolutely killing me. I can’t stop overthinking every little thing and Googling nonstop.

Has anyone had a similar experience where there was only a yolk sac at 6 weeks and everything turned out okay? Please, please reply if you have — I could really use some reassurance right now 🤍

Yup. He’s 9 now, and currently watching Gladiators at a deeply unreasonable volume and spilling grapes all over the sofa.

This is completely normal. I was 5w5d with a yolk sac and went back 2 weeks later and fetal pole was there. I totally understand the worry though - I was the same as you

Completely normal, also cycles are not always accurate. Until we had accurate early testing and scans we had no idea
