hi all im 30 weeks and 1 day, and colustrom set in.. im wondering if it is to soon? a bit nervous, any suggestions?

It’s all good :) when you get to 37 weeks you can always do colostrum harvesting if you like

Nope totally within the bands of normal to get colostrum this early, just don’t try and express any until at least 37 weeks as can bring on labour

I had it leaking from about 16 weeks and it got more and more as the weeks went on (had to wear reusable breastpads) but didn't start expressing until 36/37 weeks as advised. Baby was 4 days late still 😂 have been breastfeeding fine for nearly 5 months now. Obviously any concerns speak to your midwife 😊

It usually starts forming around 20 weeks, earlier if subsequent pregnancies.

Just don't start harvesting (if you plan to) until 37+ weeks
