How many weeks were you when you had a medically indicted c-section?

I have to have a ‘medically indicated’ c-section due to two previous category 1 sections in the past. ChatGPT has told me that this will probably be offered between 37-38 weeks due to the high risk if labour occurs naturally. I know if it was a normal elective section it would 39 weeks but wonder if anyone can tell me their experiences if they had sections due to previous dangerous labours?

39+5

First birth - dd was EMCS at 41+4 by their dates, 42+6 by mine. Loads of meconium, erratic heart rate

Next had a MMC then a chemical pregnancy

I was checked at 38 weeks for Ds, they said over 9lb, no chance of a natural birth, maybe 39% with episiotomy & forceps, and booked me in 2 days before due date

Depending on reasons for yours being a danger, they may do it earlier

Good luck 💐

I was booked in at 38 weeks with my first because of medicated/ uncontrollable gestational diabetes. I’m 36 weeks now with my second and expecting to get a date booked around 38 weeks after a growth scan this week.
The consultant told me they try to push for 39 weeks but won’t want the risk of natural labour if baby is big/ concerns about medication etc.

My 2nd pregnancy they initially had me booked for 37+5, things changed and that was brought forward to 35+1.

3rd pregnancy all was well until 22 weeks, then we aimed to get me to 32 weeks at a push. Bubs had other ideas and ensured they were evicted 3 months early.
