Hi everyone. I am a bit worried following my 36 week check up. My fundal height had been increasing in line with my due dates, but has now stopped at 34cm (2cm low) . I know a 2cm difference shouldnt be anything to worry about, but I am tall and well built . The fact that there has been no change at all also worries me. Can anyone please set my mind at rest? Thank you. I am going back to see my midwife next week so am keeping fingers crossed.

hiya, at 34 wks i hit 34cm and my bump then stopped growing til a week before my due date. i did freak quite a bit tho' ... and got unduly narked with people commenting on my "neat bump". i felt like i was doing something wrong and would gaze jealously at other ladies' large bumps. my dd was fine! at 6lb 10" she was smaller than average but well within safe area. i wrote a similar post to yours here on mn and one poster replied that she was always three weeks behind fundal legnth and she had a 9 pounder! btw i didnt get a single stetch mark which could be completley unrelated, but hey! just thought i'd throw something positive into the loop. congrats on pregnancy btw and gl for the next few weeks

Thank you so much. This is very reassuring. I guess I have just got to keep my fingers crossed until next week.
