Bleeding early pregnancy

I’m about 5 weeks pregnant and since last night had very light bleeding then it stopped but it’s started again about 3 hours ago. It’s still quite light but I’ve got some mild cramps now. This is my 4th baby and I didn’t get this with my other 3 from what i remember. Has anyone else had this and turned out ok? I’m going to give the epu a call if it gets worse & I’ve got a private scan booked for Tuesday afternoon.

Yes, I bled continuously until week 14/15 with my second pregnancy and that worked out ok. Very stressful time. I also bled with my third one on and off in first trimester and that worked out. I lost my first pregnancy though so it didn't work out in that case. You just don't know, many trips to the hospital checking it out. Hope it works out for you!

Hi! Definitely give EPAU a call tomorrow. I bled early pregnancy due to implantation bleeding, and then light brown discharge at 8 and 11 weeks due to sex. Now laying next to a very content 5 month old! Solidarity to you, it's a really anxious and overwhelming time. ❤️

Same here. Went for a scan at 6 weeks and was told its implantation bleeding, all ok.

Ive had 4 pregnancies.
3 i bled and it was a mmc. My 4th i bled and im currently feeding my 8 week old baby.

Its best to get checked out at EPAU for any bleeding!

I bled quite heavily until about 8 weeks i think with this pregnancy. IVF clinic thought it was a small hematoma. EPU disagreed but found no cause for bleeding, in their opinion. Currently 29 weeks 🙏 I was on progesterone as IVF. I think you can phone EPU and request a prescription if you're bleeding and it might help, can't hurt.

On the flip side, my first pregnancy, I had no bleeding and ended up being diagnosed with a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks.

Thank you for all your replies just an update. Unfortunately it was an early miscarriage. I’m heartbroken 😢 just taking it easy for a few days.
