5+1 no fetal pole

I so I had a early scan 2 weeks ago where there no pregnancy seen as I was to early but then had one on Sunday last week and seen yolk and sac then another today still a yolk and sac only no fetal pole is seen.. anyone been in a similar situation? I have had 2 full term neonatal deaths and I am scared and anxious x I am around 5+6 or 6 weeks mark c

I’m sorry for your losses. Pregnancy after loss is a rough experience.

I was always told that scans before 7 weeks were unreliable. Internal scans may be better from 6 weeks. Either way you’re probably just scanning too early and can’t draw any conclusions.

I say this as someone who experienced many miscarriages and a mid pregnancy loss. Scans won’t change an outcome. Focusing on taking each day at a time and finding ways to manage the anxiety will help more. It’s not easy. I had panic attacks going into scanning rooms and I found the early stages really hard. You just have to get through it, a day at a time.

Oh bless you OP. In my area no clinic (inc private) scans so early. They say too unreliable. We had to wait to 6-7 weeks. im a bit shocked a clinic had done you 3 already so early

I had a scan at 5+5 (ivf so correct dates) and fetal pole was minuscule only 1.2 mm, too small to see hb even. That’s 4 days after yours, and they only grow about 1mm a day. So far a successful preg but early ish.
My first preg showed only yolk sac but that was 6+5 so was too late for it to be good news.

I had a scan on Monday (by LMP I was 6+2) and only yolk sac was seen. They didn’t appear concerned just said I’m between 5-6 weeks so earlier than expected & must have ovulated later. Rebooked me for 21st to check its developed.

its such an anxious time isn’t it, I hate all the waiting! Even though they didn’t act concerned I can’t help but think they should have seen something! Hoping all okay for both of us in the coming weeks🤞🏻🤞🏻
