Hi, I am 18w5d pregnant and have recently been experiencing extremely uncomfortable pressure before and during bowel movements, which goes away instantly after the bowel movement. It’s not cramping or sharp pain it’s like a really bad pelvic pressure. I would appreciate any advice on anyone who experienced this in pregnancy and anything they did to help it alleviate a bit? x

I was pretty constipated first 15 weeks of my pregnancy. I bought a squatty step from Amazon that helps position you on the loo. It's much better for your pelvic floor and helps make it easier to go without any straining. It's changed my life! Try that and perhaps some movicol to help move things along?

I was getting a really sore pain while pooing , ended up being a pile, really bad cramps in pelvis area while poo was travelling down near rectum and then as coming out was so sore I had to breath it out, seems to have calmed down for now, could be that ? I hope your pain eases for you whatever it may be.
