39 + 6 … bloody show. Anyone else due?

Hi guys,

due date is tomorrow! I had a sweep yesterday and even though I was already loosing parts of my bloody show, the sweep massively helped and I’ve now lost heaps of it, if not all of it.

I’ve been getting sharp pains, like he’s literally coming out 😂 he feels incredibly low. It’s a struggle to walk…. Weeing like crazy too.

when she did the sweep I was 1cm dilated and she could feel his head, enough that she told me that he had no hair! Mental.

anyway, does anyone want to join me on the “baby wait train”. I really feel like I’ll go into labour soon, just feels extremely different to my last pregnancy…. But, granted he could still be in there a while.

any advice on trying to get things moving?
I get braxton hicks a lot, they’re not crampy but way more uncomfortable and feel sharp.

Who else is due soon?

I’m only 17 weeks but how exciting. Go for lots of walks if you can brave the cold weather ☺️

I'm 38 weeks +4 with second baby and it was partially engaged yesterday and getting pretty sore and uncomfortable. Think I keep getting Braxton Hicks as quite often solid.

Morning! Nope nothing.

im now 40+4, on Wednesday I was 2-3cm dilated baby was fully engaged. I lost possibly all my bloody show, even though I don’t really know how much there is but I’ve had no more since. she said I was really favourable, but again? What does this all mean haha.

i have another sweep tomorrow, third one, chances are it won’t work but I have an induction booked for Wednesday. I will be 41 weeks but my body hurts, I can’t walk I’m in so much pain honestly. Assuming he’s really low but just doesn’t want to come yet.

I will update you on the third sweep and hopefully, natural labor before Wednesday x

When you get the pains or have the sweep, keep moving, don’t sit/lie down.

Are you trying other things to move things along ?
Nipple tweaking , bouncy ball , pineapple , walking about , sex if you are up to it ?
