… Or other pregnancy cravings?!

My DH told me today that i have lost my ability to determine a normal cheese portion size 🤣😩 I love cheese so much right now and I crave it all the time.

I try not to eat too much, however i feel guilty if i do have too much and like I'm harming the baby with the high fat content.

I am also having the same guilty feelings about sour sweets (tangfastics are life right now). I try to limit how many I eat but if I have too many I feel so much guilt.

is anybody else experiencing guilt over indulging cravings?

Pregnancy cravings are your bodies way of telling you what it needs at that time. So you should never feel guilty for eating what you've craved. I lived on chippy chips through my pregnancy. Zero guilt 🤭

Cheese is full of calcium and protein so really you are being quite selfless eating such things for the baby 😇

I ate all the desserts with my dc1 and didnt feel guilty at all... was there vitamin c in the lemon meringue pie ,and calcium in the chocolate cake? I would say so 😂

I did add healthy food in there too just to clarify, but if I fancied something, I didnt deprive myself x

currently 15 weeks and earlier in the pregnancy I was so obsessed with cheese on toast that my SIL got me a cheese on toast Christmas tree decoration!

from what I understand cheese really is providing you with some good stuff! And maybe the craving period is short lived? Pop a bit of cucumber on there and it’s one of the healthy snacks on the nhs website

I went through sooooo much cheese with baby number 3, at least two packets of goats cheese and a block of cheddar a week, sometimes a couplde of packets of feta for good measure. And all that fat content didn't translate to a chunky baby, she's just a regular size being shy of 8lbs and long - non of my babies ever got rolls.
Eat the cheese, and tell the hubby he cam comment on what you eat when he's been through pregnancy and cravings 😆
