Hi,
sorry for the gruesome picture but everytime I wipe it seems to be a bit of an off colour…? I am around 7 weeks, I did have an early reassurance scan last week and there was a little bean with a flicker of a heartbeat

Hi sometimes you can get a little bit of bleeding. If you are worried or have any pain ring 111 . It’s always fest to get checked over. You don’t want be worrying. Hope all goes well.

It can be normal, just some old blood from implantation making its way out, or it can be a sign of a problem. Without any red bleeding I wouldn't worry too much. Your EPU may say you although they may say you need red blood to be scanned (which hopefully is reassuring)

Content warning please, TMI without a bit of notice.

It's possible to have a small bleed and it not affect the pregnancy, but you need to get it checked out ASAP.

Thanks both, I’ll speak to GP tomorrow. Not even had a booking in appointment yet so wouldn’t know who to call on the midwife team 🙈 fingers crossed it’s nothing but its first pregnancy and I’m worrying

It can be very very normal as things settle in. Try and take it easy if you can

I had similar thing a few days before your point and was fine. It was only on wiping like you say.
but if you’re ever worried always contact the medical team - as you say in your case GP as don’t have a midwife team yet b

Was your early scan a transvagional?
