2026 last year TTC thread

I currently have DS aged 8, will be 9 this November. Me and DH both turning 35 this year.

we have been TTC the last 18 months with no success. I have decided that if I’m not pregnant by the end of 2026 that I’m done.

AIBU? As time goes on we are only getting older and the age gap between our DC and possible new child becomes too big, I fear. I really hoped I’d be ending 2025 pregnant. :(

Hi, I understand but you do still have time! This time last year I was definitely in the same boat. We had been trying over a year after a devastating loss and I told myself if I wasn't pregnant by the end of 2025 I'd give up! I turned 39 last March and was so worried I was getting too old plus my partner had been diagnosed with a low sperm count! I found out I was pregnant in June and I'm currently 30 weeks with a little girl! It was miraculous really and I'm forever grateful 🩷 the biggest tip I can give is - back in May/June I just really decided to go for it and did acupuncture, reflexology and also did the deed every single day of my fertile window! I'd never tried all of that before but I was willing to try anything and just throw everything at it 😂 and it worked!
