At 35+3 my legs and feet are horribly swollen but I'm finding it difficult to raise them due to SPD. I'm drinking fennel tea and having regular swims but nothing is helping. Any ideas?

try and rest as much as you can as i find if im standing on my feet all day esp in the hot/warm weather, my ankles swell up.

i had really bad swelling with my first. all that really helped me was putting my feet up. can't imagine that with spd.... only thing i could think would be cool bath for your feet, but that sounds pretty horrible!

Support socks can help a bit. I got some cool foot spray and liberally applied it. Also soaking my feet helped me - very cold water. Am spending much of this pregnancy with my feet in DDs paddling pool while she fossicks around in the sandpit.

Lying on your left side with your feet wrapped in cold wet towels is good if your bladder can take it. Or the wet socks method - I think you can work out what you do with them!
