Planned c section date!

Anyone in Edinburgh that has had a c section recently? My midwife told me that some woman have only received a date for their planned c section just a couple of days before. Did this happen to you? How long in advance did you get your scheduled date?

It's quite normal. I don't live in Scotland, but in England and got mine 5 days prior!

i was consultant led throughout and told I had to have a c section. Also told it would be at least 7 days notice. I was given 15 hrs!
This was in the East of England

I’m in Livingston which I believe comes under the same umbrella as quite often I have to call Edinburgh numbers to book things. I got my letter at least a week before that was 2 years ago though.

I thought I would update, I got my letter about 2.5weeks in advance! I was very shocked to get it as early as that x
