Hi everyone,
I’m feeling really anxious and just looking for some reassurance or similar experiences.

I’m 4 weeks + 3 days pregnant and started having left-sided pain along with light pink discharge. I went to the hospital where they did a scan, but they couldn’t see anything and said it’s a PUL (pregnancy of unknown location). They also said they haven’t ruled out an ectopic pregnancy yet, which has really scared me.

I’m now waiting for follow-up blood tests/scans, but the uncertainty is awful.
Has anyone been in a similar situation and gone on to have a positive or happy ending? I’d really appreciate hearing your stories.

Thank you so much 💕

Hi I’ve had that pain since around that time (or maybe closer to 5 weeks can’t remember!)

I also have had pink discharge mostly on wiping, maybe twice on a pantyliner.

for me so far so good - I’m 9-10 weeks and baby definitely where it should be.

of course everyone different but hope that helps encourage you that it could be different.

ps I’m still getting the pain now in the evenings-I and midwife decided probably trapped wind which is common in pregnancy due to high progesterone.

I had similar OP but not bleeding. One sided pain started the day before I got the positive test result. Early scan showed the tiniest streak within the uterus, which she said 'might' be the pregnancy, but too early to tell. I was scanned a week later and saw a heart beat! Did they see any fibroids on your scans?

Long story short, the one sided pain, in my case, was due to fibroids getting bigger due to pregnancy hormones. I had no idea I had small fibroids till that scan! I had the same, one sided pain in each pregnancy. Sadly, I had TFMR and 2 MC's, so no living children.

Its very early days so wishing you all the best x

It’s so hard early days but many women have spotting. I had a splodge of red-brown blood the night before finding out (4+1 or 2) and again at 5-6 weeks.

one of those had solid bits in it so I was sure I’d lost the baby (it’s weird how I can’t recall which now as it’s so horrible at the time!)

wishing you all the best xx
