Pregnant with copper coil!

Oh my god I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with the copper coil! I was a week late for my period and thought I’d test to make sure and lo and behold it’s a bfp! I checked my strings last week and they’re definitely still where they usually are.
I already have two boys and really thought we were done. Now my mind is scrambled.
Has anyone else found out they were pregnant with the copper coil with the strings still in position?

You need to ring the GP and get a scan at antenatal as soon as. I'm assuming you know the risk of ectopic pregnancy, hoping things turn out OK.

I got pregnant with my copper coil and sent for a scan - couldn't feel my strings - turns out it wasn't there and I must have passed it with a heavy clot 😬 Had the strings trimmed for comfort a year or so before. So didn't know!

Thank you for replying, yes I will complete a klinik form for gp tomorrow when they open!
Such a shock I obviously know that no contraception is 100% effective but didn’t think I’d fall into the 1% 🙈
