Good evening mummy's

I am new, I had an implant removal but the doc ended up cutting the implant and leaving a piece of it inside😩 I just realized when I was healed I felt something inside when I touched... Went back in a it was removed... I always had my p's every month even when I had the implant.. Naw I started bleeding and cramping but it's brown to red only when I wipe or when I pee water inside the pot changes.... I am 11 days early for my periods, did a test but negative..... Prob just my p's any one ttc after implant

Hey OP, that sounds like very poor practice! I've just had my implant removed to ttc#2. DD was conceived 3 cycles after removal last time around 😊

Slightly different situation to you - I've always been super irregular/sporadic with my periods on the implant (think 2 in 9 months etc) but very regular without. It's taken 3 weeks for my period to return this time so I'm hoping my body is ready again.

When was your implant removed? Sounds like you could be having a withdrawal bleed

Hi hope, they inserted my implant in April 2025, just this year. Had it removed on 28 September, my next period was 19-23 October then on 28-2 December..... The piece of implant that was left inside was removed on the 14th December naw I started bleeding yesterday 27 December.... My implant was a v shape so he cut the v up in half so one small super piece was left... I always had my monthly p's even when I was on implant... Today the cramps are better the blood still old and brownish

You had your implant in for roughly the same time as me - mine was inserted May 2025 and removed early December.

Well done for noticing that such a small bit remained - surely it's not a normal occurrence and they must have been shocked!

Are you tracking in any other ways eg bbt/cervical mucus/ovulation strips? I haven't but know lots on MN do successful and it can help confirm your cycle

No am not tracking, but maybe the piece that was left disturbed my ovulation somehow, hope I get my positive soon😩

Hi hope, my bleeding stopped, when I woke up today only few drops on my tampon, I was expecting a heavy flow but just few... After work nothing on tampon... I guess it was just withdrawals from the piece that was removed
