Inconclusive/ Failed NIPT test

Hi All
following me finding out I was pregnant at 12 weeks I went private for NIPT test given the timing for Xmas and NHS appointments and it’s come back as inconclusive. I’m told not to worry but can’t help but worry why this happened, anyone had something similar or experience ?

I had this. They then used the second tube of blood they’d taken at the same time. I’m not sure if my clinic did the two vials thing or if that’s standard. Was a really long wait. I can’t remember if that second vial gave a result or if I did actually have to go back. I think it’s not that unusual to get no result though. Mine was on the early side, rather than later end. All was fine for me and the baby. Think the nhs 12 week screening gave something like 1/12 or 1/16 for downs.

Thanks for your reply, I wish they’d have taken 2 tubes when I did mines it’s horrible waiting for another week to try again given I’m so far gone already.
