Severe ventriculomegaly seen at 36 weeks

Does anyone have any experience with ventriculomegaly? I had a growth scan today at 36 weeks pregnant, where they have seen fluid on baby's brain, measuring over 2cm, when the limit is around 1cm. I've been told I should receive a call from a consultant tomorrow, depending on what they think of the scan. I've been looking this up and can see this measurement would count as severe.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this and what was the outcome? I'm terrified that I'm going to be left over Christmas waiting for an appointment and I'm in full panic mode.

Haven't got any direct experience of this but I didn't want to read and run and just wanted to give you a virtual hug as I know how scary the unknown can feel.
