Stitch like pain under ribs 8 weeks

Hi there I’m 8 weeks pregnant and for the last couple of weeks have had an uncomfortable stitch like pain under my left side ribs every evening.
it’s unbearable if I’m in the wrong position, moderate if I can get comfy.
is this Normal?

not sure if it’s normal, but I’ve had the same, started around 10 weeks, still here at 35!
asked midwife, she didn’t seem concerned. Only red flag for pain in that area can be preeclampsia but my BP has been fine throughout.
i think it’s just one of those things, but mention it to the next professional you see, just in case.

Outside chance but if it gets worse it could be referred pain from your gallbladder playing up. It's not serious (e.g. won't usually threaten your pregnancy or the baby at all) but you might need it whipped out pretty soon after you give birth.
