38 week midwife appointment

I came away from my appointment feeling quite disappointed…
no check to see if baby engaged, no talks about birth plans or anything!
and now my next appointment isn’t scheduled until 4 days after the due date! So I pressume it’ll be my last appointment.

I can imagine it would be nice to feel more nurtured. The up side would be that you must be low risk and everything is on track for a baby in the next month.
Do you feel like you are well informed about what to look out for and who you should ring if complications develop?
I hope you can have a restful few weeks and enjoy Christmas and the new year and that your baby

Remember to advocate for yourself, if you want to know if baby is engaged, ask. If you want to chat birth plan, mention it

Disappointing not to have been able to discuss your birth plan. Have you attended any ante natal classes where you were given some guidance? There is a birth plan template available on the badger notes app if that helps.
