How to interpret test?

Hey! Kind of a pointless ask as I know I’ll have to test again anyway, but I was wondering if anyone had seen anything like this before. Boots five day early test, instructions followed (probably would’ve been better testing in the morn though).

I’ve got an incredibly faint control line, no second line but instead a sort of (also faint) pink tide mark from where the second line would be towards the middle. This took about 2 mins max to manifest. You can sort of see what I mean in the pic. I am thinking that the very faint control makes this test a dud-anyone had this before? For what it’s worth, it would be very early- 5 days before period. Thoughts?

Thanks guys x

Looks like a dud test to me. I would test again in the morning.

Yes, this was what I thought. I’ll have to go and buy another. Extremely unhelpful as I was just trying to put my mind at rest as I come to the end of an increasingly odd cycle, I think this might genuinely be the worst possible result right now hahaha

Mystery somewhat solved on this- had a quick look on the boots website for reviews and there are quite a few people saying that they have had very faint/nonexistent controls with the standard tests and the five day early tests have quite bad indents.

Doesn’t do any good for my peace of mind, but just in case anyone else is having the same experience…read the reviews!
