Hi all, I have a shared parental leave question as teacher.
I took 3 blocks of shared parental leave and curtailed my maternity leave at the start of the Summer (5 weeks), October (2 weeks) and Christmas holidays (2 weeks)- so I have technically returned to work for 9 weeks. (I was paid my full salary during these 9 weeks).
With regards to the 13 week post-materity working requirement, will the 9 weeks I curtailed my maternity leave count towards those 13 weeks, meaning I would need to work for 4 weeks to fulfil that 13 week requirement?
I plan to resign from my role, but wanted to check if these 9 weeks count, before I draft my resignation letter.
