Planned c section alone UCLH/Whittington

I had a planned c section at UCLH in 2022. It went well, but was rushed to leave on day two on postnatal ward. It was obvious their focus was to get me sorted, so I could leave hospital asap, rather than care or help me with baby. Thankfully I had my husband with me for support.

I don’t have anyone to look after my toddler if/when we have another. The only person sadly health has suddenly took turn for the worst. They really isn’t anyone so I’ll be going in alone for section, and be alone for aftercare. I am very nervous about this.

Has anyone had recent experience of planned c section in either Whittington or UCLH? I wonder which would be the better choice in my circumstance.

UCLH has an overall better reputation. And is higher in many league tables.not sure on maternity specifically.

“If/when we have another”. Are you pregnant now? It isn’t clear from your post.
