Periods after medical abortion

Hello all… looking for some advise or similar stories (to help a panicked mind be put at ease).

I had a medical abortion back in July (after 2 rounds of tablets as I had retained pregnancy tissue and also a partial molar pregnancy found).

My periods have been heavier since - I’ve had 2 at 9/10 days, one at 14 days and the other at 7.
im still spotting between and this is always on the right side (as monitored by tampons ).

I have an emergency ultrasound on the 22nd December but was eager to find out if anyone had anything similar with them?

Blood pooling on one side of your tampon does not indicate that the blood is coming from one side. Your menstrual blood is the result of the breakdown of your uterine lining. I would visit your gp to check that everything is OK. After a pregnancy, even an early one, your body needs time to readjust.
