pregnancy tests??

any advice

did a test today was positive very faint line showing, but when i did another one it was negative what should i do, this would be baby no 3, and when i told the hubby he was over the moon then disapointed to here negative?

not sure what to do, periods r eractic anyway and i doubt i have had a proper one in about 2 months

any advice please!!!!

Was it the same brand of test?

What time did you do the first then the 2nd?

If they were different tests the 1st may simply be more sensitive than the 2nd brand OR if you did the first test with first morning wee the 2nd test may not have been + as the level of HCG was too weak later int he day.

yes same brand of test first one down about 1pm and the second around 2pm

Can I ask what brand of test it was? Did the faint + come up within 10 minutes?

You need to leave 4 hours between tests or the HCG doesn't have time to build up again.

Test with your first morning urine tomorrow.

I agree need to leave 4 hours between wees to let the hormone build up. If the first test had a line then I would say probably pg but test with morning wee tomorrow.

I think if you got a + then you are pregnant.

You need to retest in the morning if you can.

I would try the clearblue brand - I tried Boots and it was a very faint positive and then went and bought the clear blue pregnancy test and it was a very clear positive. The Clearblue brand is more senitive to HCG.

oh rite ok periwink, its weird but i got an asda one so will try that in the moring
