Hair removal creams

I used a hair removal cream yesterday. I have just been reading my pregnancy book and it said you shouldn't use them. I'm now quite upset and scared. It says they haven't been extensively studied you should avoid them.

Anyone have anything to suggest that my baby will be ok?

Well I used hair removal cream through all three of my pregnancy's and it never occurred to me until now that you shouldn't. Opps! (All dc are fine!!)

It never occurred to me either. Just didn't think of it at all.

Second pregnancy you'd think I'd know this stuff.

Stop worrying, if the reason given is lack of testing then there is also no evidence they are dangerous. The stuff in the cream would have to get into your system and cross the placenta to cause harm. I'm not a doctor or anything but to me it seems unlikely, def low risk imo
