Pain on left side??

Hi im 18 weeks pg and i was at work today and one child was playing with a wooden truck and it hit me in my back, didn't half hurt! and upto about an hour ago i keep getting cramp in my left side of my tummy, does anyone know what this might be? Im worried now i tried to ring my midwife but its answer machine as usual!!

phone nhs direct, or your gp. Prob.nothing to worry about but you need to put your mind at rest. Midwives rarely best to contact when urgent advice wanted as often on visits etc! (or having a cup of tea or something!)
