sorry if i TMI
i started taking a pill back in middle of april, first time on pill for 3yrs. i have a normal 28day cycle which worked out right as the first day of my last cycle was 8th may exactly 28 days. day 16 into my cycle i had light spotting for a day or so, and just thought was the pill. anyway i'm now a week late and since sun i've been sick and retching in the morning, and extremely tired. Whats your opinion as to whats wrong with me??

Our local asda sells £1.00 tests in their £1.00 section. As do Poundland.

singyswife · 10/06/2008 14:24

I would assume that since you are on the pill you dont want to be pg??? Maybe it is a hormone overload that is making you sick, I cannot take the pill for this reason. Have you felt like this before??

TheMuppetMuggle · 10/06/2008 14:30

if i was pregnant it wouldn't be a bad thing, its just we are in process of buying a house so everything is a bit stressful at the moment, so we went on pill to just stop it for happening for now. we were planning on trying at end of the yr anyway.
The pill has sent me into low moods before, and only reason i feel low now is because i keep being sick and i feel exhausted.

our asda doesn't have a £1 section, not that i've seen anyway. i'll have alook later
thanks

I also know that our local Llyods pharmacy has tests at £2.99. (I know all of this because I have PCOS and due to the symptoms(of pcos) and TTC I often find my self buying tests just to make sure.

TheMuppetMuggle · 10/06/2008 16:33

ahh okay, i'll have to take a trip to asda and to lloyds on hayling tomorrow then thanks

Any news????

TheMuppetMuggle · 11/06/2008 12:55

well i brought a £1 test from asda, very dark control line, and i think a faint test line, but been up since 3am so eyes are tired lol. I can't get an appointment with my docs for another 2 weeks as they are fully booked, what do you all suggest??

Wait til you get paid then buy a digital test, which leaves not room for doubt.

TheMuppetMuggle · 11/06/2008 13:25

ok, will do that.

with my first pregnancy a test didn't show up positive till i was 9 weeks, apparently low HCG levels. i'll do one first thing friday morning, and see what happens.

Try not to assume you will mc again, it ruins pregnancy! (trust me, I'm 26 weeks with first baby but 3rd pg...)
