Acrylic nails in pregnancy

Anyone know if it's ok to keep getting my nails done every 3 weeks or should i have them taken off?

I still had mine done regularly when I was pregnant. I wasnt aware there might be a problem with it but it didnt do me or DS any harm.

I would be extremely worried about the fumes, as they are quite toxic to inhale and could affect the fetus. If you want to keep doing this, I think you should talk to your doctor.

There was another thread about this a while ago and I think the consensus was a real manicure would be OK but acrylics etc involve lots of chemicals and probably best to avoid in the early stages at very least.
