Pregnant after miscarriage

After some advice as I don’t really know what to think, I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks starting on 11th November, was seen in early pregnancy and had internal scan which showed empty uterus, nothing retained, healthy ovaries, I was cleared to start trying again straight away, to my surprise I had a positive on Sunday, Monday and today, no bleed in between, the midwife called me today from EPU for my booking appointment for my previous pregnancy as I hadn’t been discharged off the list apparently, I informed her about my new tests and she was very abrupt stating I should’ve waited to have at least one bleed, then she kept talking about ectopics and how I need to be seen for bloods and USS, so going in next week for these, but I’ll only be 5 weeks so I doubt anything will be seen, are they thinking it’s a continuation of the previous pregnancy or just being cautious as I’ve just had a miscarriage? Sorry for the long post!

I didn't wait and didn't get told off.
Have you had a negative test since your miscarriage?

I miscarried last year on the 12th Dec, negative pregnancy test on 2nd Jan. By 14th Feb I hadn't got my period so I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I took a week's test and got 3+ so I phone the epu. They got me in for a HCG test to see when would be a good time to give me an early scan. The HCG was over 100,000 so they scanned me the next day and I was 8+3. This was a week after the positive test. My community midwife then got me in for my booking appointment and used this scan to give me a fake lmp for the dating. If I hadn't had the early scan she would have used the date of my miscarriage and hoped it was close enough. He's now 3 months old!
