How long after a sweep did you go into labour?

I am 37+3 days pregnant. Had bloody show on Sunday 12am. Followed by on and off tightenings and was 1cm dilated. Today (Monday) I lost a large chunk of my mucus plug and was checked again and I am 1-2cm now and cervix is soft. Having tightenings every 20 mins. Midwife managed to give me a sweep at 2pm today. Anyone had any success with a sweep? This is my third pregnancy 😩🥹

Sweep at 9am (37+5) but I was already 4cm (unaware of the fact). Waters broke about 11.30am and first contraction shortly after, baby arrived at 4pm same day.

Second sweep worked for me but started with such small contractions I didn’t really realise it was the real thing for hours!

My first I had a sweep on the Monday and my boy was born on the Friday, 40 +6days. He’s 18 now and still my darling boy…best of luck OP, sounds like you are v close to giving birth!

Sweep at 4pm, ds born 11.17pm.

Had sweep at 10pm at 39+5 with baby 2. Labour started the following morning at 4am. Weirdly paused though from 9-6ish that day and then started again in the evening with baby being born in the wee hours. Good luck!

I had several sweeps and none of them worked.

Sweep at around 930 am, contractions started about 9pm. Baby born 6am next day

Sweep at 1730, had bloody show at 2230, contractions from then on increasing to every 5 mins at 0000, waters broke at 0130, baby born that day at 2030 - she was b2b though which contributed to the fast onset of contractions!
