I’m due in February and was told a few weeks ago by the HR team that someone from Facilities would be in touch to do an individual risk assessment but they haven’t yet.
By 3pm my ribs are absolutely killing me and there’s no comfortable position other than being asleep on my side wrapped around a giant pillow. My job is entirely desk based, flexible hours, and hybrid but mostly remote wfh.
My question: is it even worth chasing for the risk assessment, what could they actually do other than tell me to take regular breaks? Has anyone had a risk assessment where they had a useful intervention for general pregnancy discomfort?
