Constant cramps 4 weeks pregnant

Hi all,

I am looking to see what other ladies have had this experience. I am currently 4 weeks pregnant after having IVF. (Previously had one natural miscarriage and one failed IVF round)

since 4pm yesterday I have had constant aches and cramps and I am starting to really worry! I have had no bleeding (touch wood) I have completed 2 pregnancy tests today both positive, but worried something bad is happening with these constant cramps, I am constantly running to the toilet to make sure nothing is happening. Google says it shouldn’t be constant and now it’s on my mind!

any advice or stories? X

I am also four weeks with a history of miscarriages and am having lots of cramps. I don't think I had this with my other pregnancies and it's making me really nervous.

It can be a sign of implantation but you should really get checked out in case of ectopic pregnancy.
I also had cramps at around 10 weeks due to ligaments stretching

Hi OP, I had terrible cramping from 4 to 12 weeks on both my pregnancies , it was so worrying , I also had alot of spotting and light bleeding , ultimately everything was fine . I know the worry in the early days of pregnancy can be so intense especially after previous losses but I wish you the very best of luck . ❤️

Ah thank you! I have read on a lot of posts about cramping and it all being fine, but it’s hard to believe it when you are going through it! Did you cramping become quite frequent as well throughout? Glad it was all ok in the end for you! Xx

I think I’ll ring my clinic in the morning to see what they think! Thank you for sharing your experience, I hope it’s just ligament!!

Ah so sorry to hear you are in this situation, but we have to remember in this current moment; we are pregnant and hopefully these cramps pass ❤️

To be fair I had cramping through out my pregnancy and stretching pains it was fine once I knew what it was! Honestly I had everything under the sun when I was pregnant at one point I had splints on both wrists and belly band for SPD
