Baby 1 was conceived cycle 1, baby 2 was cycle 6, been ttc baby 3 for 11 months and nothing. Cycles are regular and ‘normal’ around 25-27 days. Could it be my age? I’ve just turned 33, DD 1 had just turned 4 so could my fertility of declined that much in 5 years? Does anyone have any advice or been in the same boat when ttc baby 3.

I wouldn’t have thought it’s your age, 33 isn’t ‘old’ in terms of fertility atall!
Are you stressed atall? Taking any vitamins? I think sometimes the more ‘pressure’ you put on trying it just doesn’t happen. Maybe stop ‘trying’ and see what happens if not perhaps visit to GP? Could also be your OH- sperm count etc. how old is he? X

I wouldn't think your fertility has gone downhill thag much in 4-5 years and your age certainly isn't old!
I would probably errrr more kn the side that parents with 2 under 4 are inherently more stressed than a childless couple first trying out!

Do you track ovulation? I use the easy at home tests (cheap on amazon) and track in the PreMom App. Your cycle is probably on the slightly shorter side so definitely try tracking if you haven't already.

Don’t feel overly stressed and have been trying to take it in my stride. I’m busy with my 2 and 4 year old I don’t have much time to stress about the fact it hasn’t happened yet. They’re still little and I’m enjoying them but would still love another but I’m not in the ‘absolutely desperate’ stage yet. Just kind of wondering what could be the reason it’s taking a bit longer than anticipated. I do track using Premom and flo and I usually ovulate around CD 12. DH is same age as me so no issues with him being older or anything. Should I try and book in for bloods with the dr now or would you give it a year?

@Aintitfunlivingintherealworld i have two older children 14 and 10 with my ex partner and me and my new partner decided to try and I had my coil out June 24. I was expecting to fall pregnant straight away like I did the others but didn’t. Then I just thought after 6 months it wasn’t going to happen and blamed my age (39) and stopped trying. Then got a shock positive in July 25. Due Feb.
I think taking the pressure off helped and simple lifestyle changes like reducing alcohol, stopping vaping, being more active and just generally living a healthier life.
