had very odd turn today, what was it?

I was standing up watching ds and suddenly felt like i couldnt breath properly, then felt sick and got v dizzy had to sit down. Very scary. Never had this with pg with ds. Wasnt particulary hot, wasnt hungry or thirsty and was only standing for approx 10 mins. (im 16 weeks btw)

low blood pressure? sounds like pretty normal pg faintness to me.

Not sure about the not being able to breathe bit, but the rest of it sounds like you were going to faint but managed not to.

I have only fainted once in my life and that was when I was 20 weeks pg with my fourth child. I didn't have blood pressure problems, it was just one of those things.

If I were you, I would mention it at your next ante-natal appointment (or are you not due one for ages?)

I get all sorts of funny turns in pregnancy. I can be feeling fine and then suddenly I am dizzy, lightheaded, have rushing noises in my ears, feel sick, get hot, start shaking... You name it, I feel it.

Pregnancy is just an odd, odd time IMO.

I got low blood pressure with my first pg and experienced sudden light headedness followed by feeling sick and sweaty. HOrrible but I think quite normal - It was suggested I drink fizzy water?!
Then I got high bp towards the end.......
