why are you worried happyathome?

PetitFilou1 · 09/06/2008 13:08

You can buy pitrok in most big Boots or Holland and Barrett (but you have to not mind sweating as it only stops you getting smelly!)

happyathome · 09/06/2008 13:10

i'm just so paranoid about chemicals and that anything i may eat/use,may make the baby grow 6 heads!!.My 2nd pregnancy,so i shouldn't be so paranoid...no defects with DD.Everything seems so much more worrying with the hormones flying just now and i just want to make sure i do everything right this time.
wondered if anyone else switches to something like Green People,or Pitrok when pregnant....maybe no-ones even thought about it..just sad freaky me?.

I use the Jason tea tree one - it's good and I think you can get it from most health food shops .

HaH I don't use it - am afraid I still use normal deodorant. Both previous dcs have turned out fine though . I have THOUGHT about changing but hate feeling sticky...

Also, if I changed that then I'd also have to change all the moisturisers, shampoos, shower gels etc that I use that have parabens in them as it doesn't feel worth doing unless you change everything. I will get around to it at some point. Sorry but I admit to being one of those women who tried washable nappies and gave up...

happyathome · 09/06/2008 14:31

thanks for your honesty petitfilous!...you're right...i guess there's a lot we'd have to remove to 'purify' ourselves.I was only thinking about nappies too today...but it does seem like a right faff .
i think my baby will suffer stress symptoms, rather than chemical induced defects!.
.
Good luck with your pregnancy!
