12 week scan blood results - how long do they take?

I had my 12 week ultrasound on the 14th, and asked for the combined blood screening test. I still haven't heard back - and it's making me feel really nervous. How long did it take you to get the results back?

I'm also a bit concerned as the baby wasn't 12 weeks - they were measured as being 13+6 : would this affect the rest results?

Hi!

I got my blood test results back within a week or so, after having my 12 week scan at 14 weeks. I was told they can do the scan up to 14 weeks before the baby wriggles too much, so I’m sure everything is fine :)

Good luck with the pregnancy!

Mine took two weeks by post. They said if there were any problems, they would contact me sooner by telephone. No news is good news x

12 week scans are being done between 13-14 weeks now so that’s normal. The screening results take 1-2 weeks but if there is a problem they ring you within a few days. As PP said, no news is good news!

I've had a high risk result before and I was called within 3 days. With other pregnancies with low risk results I think I got a letter after a couple of weeks.

Thank you all for replying, you've made me feel a bit better. I'll just have to wait - I suppose it'll come next week...
