VBAC or 3 C-sections?

Just this really - I had my first child via emergency C section after failed induction and we are starting to think about our future family. We would like 2-3 kids. I know there is a possibility of VBAC but that comes with it's own risks. I am more inclined to go for a C-section the second time because I had a relatively distressing first birth and would rather have everything planned. Anyone had experience with 3 C-sections or is VBAC for the next birth the better option?

I've had 3 sections, I had an open myomectomy before having children as well. I didn't have a choice in how they were delivered so can't help with how I decided.

It's been fine. I found it easier to mobilise with each section but have perhaps felt the impact of surgery for longer (but age could also be a factor there).

I had an emergency c section and then two Vbacs.
Whatever you do I’m sure it will be fine.

I've had 2 c-sections not 3 but i recovered faster from the second than the first as i mobilised faster. A planned c-section also tends to be medically much better than an emergency one and VBAC's don't have great success rates - so go with what you want to do.
