No real pattern 31 weeks?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else doesn’t really have a pattern of movements yet?

This is my second baby and my second pregnancy with an anterior placenta which I know can muffle some movements but I do feel baby move everyday - some days are quieter and some days are busier.

I don’t really feel like I have a particular pattern though. I do tend to feel her move most on the evening when I am lying down relaxing and after eating but aside from that there’s nothing I would call ‘regular’ just the odd movement and roll or kick and random times.

Is this okay or should I have an established pattern by now?

That was completely my experience with my first two who were both anterior placenta babies. I remember the stress well of never really being able to tell whether there was a change of pattern or routine as there never seemed to be much of a pattern in the first place! After eating and in the evening seems pretty normal. I think people will say though if you have an even quieter than usual day to get checked out though. I’m now on (successful) pregnancy number 3, also 31 weeks, this time with a posterior placenta and the difference is unreal!

I had an anterior placenta too and whilst I felt soem movements I definitely didn't feel.as much as others talk about and what I did feel there was no pattern.
