I’m only 6 weeks 2 days and struggling big time. I had HG with my son and feel like I’m heading that way now with this pregnancy.

How do you manage it? Going to try and get meds from GP today

I had nausea and was able to manage because I had things like flexi at work so didn’t have to worry about timekeeping when I had to take multiple stops on way to work or was walking very tentatively trying not to throw up(smells really set me off on commute and used to feel light headed on tube).
No one was watching me or commenting on how many times I went to bathroom.

My partner was doing half drop off and pick ups for toddler. I really don’t think I could have done it with HG. My colleague took two months off for nausea, surely you could be signed off for a bit as HG is potentially deadly? You won’t be getting enough nutrition and will need rest. Or at the very least reduce hours and wfh if that’s possible in your line of work? Is toddler in nursery? If you do take some time, don’t feel like you should have toddler at home all the time as that won’t be rest!

Time off work, anti emetics and more TV for little one and my partner doing nearly all the housework.
My daughter was not quite 4 and 4 and 3m when I went through it last year. The Olympics were on with the first hg pregnancy so we watched a lot of that together
