i've just got back from the maternity ward. they did more tests and monitoring, and they will hopefully have more results from lab on weds. drinking loads of water. just so uncomfortable. all they suggest is paracetamol which takes the edge off a bit, and rest.

leucocites?? are white blood cells and indicate infection so I would assume it needs treatment

misdee · 22/01/2005 22:21

innit. thinking of getting myself admitted..............

misdee · 22/01/2005 22:22

thanks noddy, i knew someone would know how to spell it.

as its only a trace, and has been only a trace for 2 weeks they are reluctant to perscribe anti biotics. but it hurts everytime i move now. getting up hurtsd, sitting down hurts, moving onto my side hurts........... get the idea?

If it is a UTI, cranberry juice is very good for it.
Hope you feel better soon.

misdee · 22/01/2005 22:24

i bought a carton of cranberry and blackcurrent, and dh drank it b4 i got a chance, and he shouldnt have cranberry juice as its messes with warfarin.

misdee... please dont wait til monday. it isnt worth the pain you are obviously feeling. I advise going back to the maternity ward again... the more you bugg them the more seriously they will take you xxx

misdee · 22/01/2005 22:35

i may well do that tomorrow, if i cant move off the sofa or shift about. its a nightmare trying to getup etc. even getting out of the car hurt.

that will help surely. you need as much support as possible, and if you still feel really bad, go back to hospital. thinking of you again tonight xxx

misdee · 23/01/2005 21:25

feeling a bit easier on the pain front. can move about tonight without feeling too much pain. am hoping its just ligament pain, as this is #3 so i am weel 'stretched' around my tummy.
