Very faint line- is it a chemical?

currently ttc, I have endometriosis adenomyosis and a history of 5 chemicals plus 4 miscarriages (around 8-9 weeks)
I’ve taken an early detection test and it’s very very faint (my period is due in 3 days)
please give me honest opinions- possible chemical? Shouldn’t it be slightly darker this close to period?
I’m taking progesterone so unsure whether to stop or continue with them as I don’t want to prolong the inevitable if I’m going to lose it

There is no way of knowing if this will be a chemical, but I'd say it's a reasonable line for how early you are. Best of luck x

Yes echoing what pp said, you can’t know if it’s a chemical or not from 1 pregnancy test. Mine looked like that 3 days before my AF was due. So sorry for your previous history of losses x I understand why you have so much anxiety. Loss is awful and changes everything.

Yes you are both totally right. I just can’t help but obsess and think the worst, this bit is just awful! But thank you for your replies I will retest in 2 days and try to stay away from poas until then!
